AGENCY EVENTS

Agencies that are funded by the United Way do not obtain all the funding they need from us. 

Most have received governmental cuts in funding and grant reductions that affect their

ability to provide valuable services to our community.  Often they are left to make up the differences with supplemental fundraising through special events. 

You can further support your community by helping us support these special events! 

They are fun additional ways to LIVE UNITED!

Summer Raffle for Kids’ Sake

The Mt. Vernon Catholic Social Services Regional Advisory Council (RAC) is sponsoring a “Summer Raffle for Kids’ Sake”.  Proceeds will benefit programs at Catholic Social Services that strengthen families, building better communities through healthy living.

     You can win:

Grand Prize:   $1000 Cash  

Second Prize:    $250 Cash  

Third Prize:      $250 Cash

     Tickets  sell for $5.00 each, or 5 tickets for $20 and are available for purchase until August 26, 2009 at:

1)     Catholic Social Services Office,

OR

2)  Mail us your business card and raffle money, and let us fill out the raffle ticket(s) for you, and mail you a proof of purchase!

Checks are accepted and payable to CSS of Southern Illinois.

            The Lucky Winners will be notified on Friday, August, 28, 2009.
