SPECIAL EVENTS
United Way of South Central Illinois hosts several events throughout the year to raise funds for the organization as well as create awareness of issues in our community. These events utilizes our phenomenal volunteers who are instrumental in the planning and execution of the events.
Most events are funded through Corporate Sponsorships. Corporate Sponsorships is an additional way for corporations to give above and beyond the general campaign.
Business are offered the opportunity to sponsor the event exclusively or sponsor different needs within the event. Each sponsorship offers member benefits that are expanded as the donation levels increase.
Sponsorships are an important part of our business. Because of generous corporate partners, United Way is able to thank, recognize, educate and train donors and volunteers, without incurring additional expenses.
Sponsoring a United Way event feels good, but makes good business sense too. Studies show consumers are more likely to support organizations that are involved in the local community. Community support also helps build a positive brand image in the eyes of the consumer.
