Continental Resources, Inc.

Congratulations and a special thank you to Continental Resources, Inc. who
stuffed their way to become the first annual Bus Stuffing Champions.� A donation
of 1,000 backpacks and enough school supplies to stuff them helped the United
Way acheive half of their goal of providing school supplies to over 2,000 children
in Jefferson County that qualify for the free or reduced school lunch program.
Without this contribution many of our children would not have had the tools they
needed to begin learning this school year.� This contribution was valued at over
$14,000.00!
"Continental Resources and it's predecessor Farrar Oil Co. have long supported youth
and education in Jefferson County and are pleased to continue that committment
with back packs and school supplies for our area youth," said Richard Straetor,
President Contintental Resources' Eastern Division. "Being ready and excited for
class the first day of school can make a big difference in a student's success
