FIND HELP CLOSE TO HOME

You do not need to know a program’s name to take the next step. Start with what you need, then explore the local options below.

Not sure where to start?

Call 211 for information and referrals, or explore 211 resources. In an emergency, call 911.

Food for your household

Little Free Food Pantries offer a place to take what you need and share what you can. Visit Centralia Mobile Markets for distribution details, and check the community calendar for upcoming food events. Pantry Pointers shares practical ideas for using pantry and garden ingredients.

Household essentials

United We Give supplies donated essentials through participating schools and nonprofit organizations. Agencies must arrange participation before pickup. Households looking for a local referral can call 211.

Children’s books and learning

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library delivers free books to eligible children from birth to age five. Teachers can explore United Way Readers — Sarita’s Library and Teacher and Classroom Grants.

Health care

Our RAM Free Clinic is planned for May 14–15, 2027. Call 211 for current health care referrals and other local resources.

Housing and financial assistance

Call 211 to ask about local housing, utility and financial assistance. Programs have their own eligibility rules and available funding; a referral does not guarantee assistance.

For food pantry partners

The United Midwest Food Hub distributes to participating pantry partners. Pantries must contact Midwest Food Bank to participate. These deliveries are for agencies, rather than household pickups.
